Marcela Romero-Langlois is a professional linguist, originally from Colombia South America. Her experience spans in both interpreting; in court, depositions, and conferences. Her translation works include judiciary and legal documents, contracts, technical manuals, medical, business and literary works. She held the position of President of the Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators between 1989-1991, Marcela grew up in Florida, graduated from Coral Gables High School, received an AA from MDCC, and her Bachelors from the University of Florida, in Psychology and Linguistics. She pursued graduate studies in Translation at Georgia State. Marcela has held membership and participated in AAIT, MING, NAJIT, ATA. She works as a Freelance Interpreter for the Courts and has done business as Buckhead Executive Spanish Translations since 1988, rendering exceptional simultaneous, consecutive, sight and written services for courts. Marcela is a certified interpreter by the Georgia Commission on Interpreters and licensed since 2003 as a Judiciary Interpreter and Translator.
