Alex Alvarez is a communication and information specialist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He helped create CDC’s en español website and has wide media experience in working with Hispanic audiences in the U.S. He was an anchor with CNN en español, Canal de Noticias NBC, and the Univision affiliate in Chicago. He has been involved in the translation business for over 30 years.
